WENDT CORPORATION has announced the unveiling of their new Showroom. Now located at the company’s headquarters in Buffalo, NY, the Showroom is an evolution of WENDT‘s Technology Center. The new Showroom, part of WENDT‘s continued growth strategy, will continue to act as a key resource for customers to do material sampling, prove a business case and gain hands-on training from WENDT‘s experienced Service Technicians. The Showroom also offers the new ability to continuously feature the latest and most advanced technology and equipment available.
Currently, the Showroom is equipped with a ferrous dirt separator, an eddy current, a WENDT / TOMRA FINDER 4 and the new TOMRA X-TRACT X6 FINES. The TOMRA X6 is a revolutionary x-ray-based solution that can separate magnesium from aluminum in products such as Zorba and Twitch, opening the door to trading low magnesium Twitch on domestic markets. The system utilizes existing TOMRA XRT technology but in a new configuration. This configurations capabilities sort material of different density levels and separates magnesium from aluminum to create furnace ready products across the Zorba size spectrum from 1/4″ – 5″. These new capabilities enable a high degree of fines separation that could not be achieved before.
With the Showroom now operational, customers are encouraged to send Gaylord box samples that are representative of their own material. Materials will be tested, analyzed and customers will be provided with a full report of data-driven recommendations for an equipment solution, providing customers with the information necessary to make smart purchasing decisions that are quantified and justified.

WENDT‘s Showroom will be expanding with additional equipment in the months to come. Tom Wendt adds, “There is a lot to look forward to as more equipment gets added to our Showroom floor later this winter and in early spring. We are excited for our customers to share in our growth.”
