The Electrical Engineering Supervisor oversees the staff, safety, and productivity of the Electrical Engineering Department. This management level position also includes responsibility for productivity, volume, budget adherence, quality, technology innovation, staff development, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:
1. 1. Attract, hire, retain, and develop talented employees.

3. Perform work primarily as a Supervisor/Company leader and secondarily as an individual contributor.
4. As an individual contributor, will perform work which sets the bar for the group as well as the organization.
5. As a leader, you will develop standard work process and procedures.
6. Directly responsible for monitoring and improving the project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production, quality, and volume.
7. Ensure the work of subordinates and subcontractors meets quality, code compliance, and consistency.
8. Ensure designs and installations meet all applicable codes.
9. Work closely with Project Management, Customers, and Supply Chain Partners to execute orders efficiently and profitably from initial specifications, design, procurement, test, programming, installation, commissioning, and optimization.
10. Work closely with the Service Department and directly with Customers to promote and deliver after-Sales support, training, and customizations.
11. Devise and maintain a system of data management that aligns with overall Company strategies to ensure that working data and as-sold data is secure, organized, and properly maintained.
12. Work in a highly organized and efficient manner with a very customer-centric focus.
13. Travel up to 20%, including internationally.

Salary Range: $110,000-130,000

The International Project Manager (IPM) is responsible for project delivery success including customer satisfaction throughout the process from pre-sale through commissioning.

Essential Functions:

1. Safety of yourself and those around you while at work either at the plant or in the field.
2. Engage client and internal sales team to oversee final equipment selection, budgets, scope, and schedule in the pre-sale phase.
3. Upon award of contract, create and execute project work schedule, work breakdown structure, attain customer approval, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the client including change orders.
4. Effectively understands customer’s needs and proactively proposes solutions to meet those needs.
5. Coordinate with all departments and suppliers to ensure schedule and scope requirements are clearly communicated.
6. Assist engineering management to identify critical path so work is assigned in the most efficient manner.
7. Assist supply chain management with selecting, validating, and managing key suppliers in the region.
8. Maintain key project performance metrics.
9. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope.
10. Specify and release orders with purchasing for any and all third party scope of supply.
11. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
12. Prepares for and facilitates client progress reviews in addition to timely internal team reviews to achieve on-time and high-quality milestone achievement.
13. Manages and coordinates fieldwork as required to facilitate installation and commissioning.
14. Mitigates company exposure and risk while maximizing margin on all projects.
15. Meeting or exceeding as-sold margins.
16. Responsible for all project documents to ensure they are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
17. Customer satisfaction and continuous improvement to the company’s overall brand and reputation.
18. Travel up to 30%. Including internationally.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar curriculum or equivalent work experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the Metals Recycling industry required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction or capital equipment project management.
• MBA and/or advanced degrees preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Must be fluent in English. Multi-lingual is preferred.

Field Service Tech Industrial Machinery Hydraulics performs installation, commissioning, and repair work at customer sites. They troubleshoot problems arising in the equipment to identify root cause so it can be returned to normal operating parameters. During installation and commissioning of new equipment they work to ensure results meet or exceed performance standards and that customers are trained and satisfied. Technical cross-training, safety, and travel flexibility are fundamental requirements of the position.
We are interested in candidates with a strong hydraulics background.

Essential Functions:

  • Diagnose and repair equipment either in our own shop or by travelling to the location of the customer.
  • Install and commission new equipment at the customer site.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times as a priority.
  • Test and calibrate equipment to ensure it is meeting minimum performance standards.
  • Provide telephone, email, and text support to the customer in order to perform troubleshooting or training.
  • When not in the field, perform equipment assembly and test in the shop to support manufacturing and/or any other work in the shop for which they are qualified.
  • Supervise, instruct, direct, and assign work to shop employees who may be at a customer site assisting with work there and be responsible for the work they oversee.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the equipment and processes by providing timely and organized feedback to the company.
  • Prepare and distribute required reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Advanced vocational degree preferred
  • Three years of experience in the industrial equipment industry
  • Experience traveling to perform service or installations preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical schematics.
  • Basic computer skills for email, word processing, and using the internet.
  • Advanced computer skills preferred, such as; PC OS/admin, installing/repairing networks, and similar skills.
  • Experience using one or more of the following tools: lathe, milling machine, drill press, and/or vertical/horizontal cut off saw.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude, preferably with heavy machine building experience.
  • Advanced hydraulic and/or electrical installation and/or repair experience preferred.
  • Basic rigging experience. Advanced experience with large outdoor lifts preferred.
  • Clean safety record. Certifications and advanced training preferred.
  • Ability to calculate and acquire dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers .
  • Basic working knowledge of PLC’s. Advanced experience and basic programming abilities preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently (>50%), sometimes with short notice, and potentially long durations.
  • Ability to leave the country.
